1. Cover for further professional training
Normal student insurance requires that the studentshould be under the direct supervision of a qualified tutor. This means that case study work required by the course syllabus and carried out unsupervised by the student may well not be covered by the schools policy. The existing insurance of any current member can be extended to include unsupervised work undertaken whilst compiling case studies. Upon completion of the training the cover is automatically upgraded to full practitioner cover.
2. Insurance for teaching
The teaching of workshops and practitioner level course can be included under your IPTI policy, provided that the member is qualified and insured for the therapy being taught and holds a recognised adult education teaching qualification.
If you require further information please call us on 01777 700383/703177 or e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
3. Insurance cover for working abroad
The IPTI policy can include cover for working abroad for up to 30 days anywhere in the world apart from the USA and Canada.
30 days only working abroad are covered by the IPTI policy and this cannot be extended.
In order to be insured for work undertaken abroad the member must inform IPTI of the dates of travel in advance of departure.
